Canadians to Enjoy The Matrix Resurrections with Accelerated Premium Home Release

Warner Bros. Pictures Canada announced today that The Matrix Resurrections will receive an accelerated Premium Home Release due to the continued varying market restrictions resulting from the pandemic. While the studio remains committed to providing moviegoers with a theatrical experience wherever possible, with fewer markets open, the decision was made to offer audiences multiple ways to enjoy the epic new chapter in the groundbreaking franchise on the big screen where available and in the comfort of their own home for ownership or rental through Premium Home Release.
The Matrix Resurrections is currently playing in select theatres and will be available for ownership or rental beginning on Friday, January 14. The film will be available for $29.99 for premium purchase and $24.99 for premium rental on participating digital platforms wherever you buy or rent movies.

Lana Wachowski directed from a screenplay by Wachowski & David Mitchell & Aleksander Hemon, based on characters created by The Wachowskis. The film was produced by James McTeigue, Lana Wachowski and Grant Hill. The executive producers were Garrett Grant, Terry Needham, Michael Salven, Karin Wachowski, Jesse Ehrman and Bruce Berman.
