Achoo! – the “Shorts” booger monster makes an appearance in Toronto at the Canadian National Exhibition

Grab a tissue! Warner Bros. Canada (WB) announced today that the SHORTS giant ‘booger monster’ will make an appearance at the opening weekend of the Canadian National Exhibition from Friday, August 21 to Sunday, August 23, 2009. The ‘booger monster’ will be available for stand-ups and photo opportunities on Friday, August 21 (opening day of SHORTS). The ‘booger monster’ is in town to attend the Canadian National Exhibition. He will be a part of the Kids’ World area at the CNE and guests of the Ex will have the opportunity to meet the friendly monster, make a short movie or comic strip (courtesy of THE DIRECTOR’S CUT movie camps for kids) and get cool “SHORTS” prizes.
Robert Rodriguez’s new family adventure film, SHORTS, hits theatres Friday, August 21.
The film tells the story of eleven-year-old Toe Thompson who is the designated punching bag for the bullies of the suburban community of Black Falls, where his and everyone else’s parents work for Black Box Industries, makers of the do-it-all gadget that’s sweeping the nation. But during a freak storm, a mysterious Rainbow Rock, which grants wishes to anyone who finds it, falls from the sky. Suddenly, the neighborhood that Toe already thinks is weird is about to get a lot weirder. As the Rainbow Rock ricochets around the town—from kid to kid and parent to parent—wishes-come-true quickly turn the neighborhood upside down in a wild rampage of everything from tiny aliens to giant boogers.

WB welcomes all members of the press to do stand-ups/photos with the giant booger monster from SHORTS.
